I hope everyone has a fabulous spring break! Enjoy the nice weather and have some fun playing outside. I will see everyone back on Monday, April 28th!
We had a fantastic Wax Museum presentation today! I am so proud of all the boys and girls for doing such a fabulous job with the speeches and costumes. Well done everyone! Here are some pictures from the day.
We had a very productive week for the last quarter. I'm happy to say that the children are working hard once again without the interruption of all those snow days! The quarter is done and report cards will be sent home on Tuesday, April 8th.
We wrote our speeches for the Wax Museum in class this week. We are now ready to practice those speeches until the students can say them in their sleep. :) Seriously they will practice them so much, that they will dream about them. Please encourage them to practice the speech in front of people at home or in front of the mirror. The more times they say the speech, the less nervous they will be during the actual Wax Museum. Our Wax Museum presentation will be on April 15th from 2:00-2:40 in the cafeteria. Please have all props and costumes at school by 1:30 at the latest. You can drop them off in the morning or a day or two ahead of time if your child can't bring them in on their own. We will begin changing and setting up at 1:15 or as soon as the cafeteria is clean and ready. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact me. LOOKING AHEAD TO THIS WEEK! We will have a math test on Wednesday, April 9th and a science test on Friday, April 11th. |
