We used prisms on a nice sunny day to see how they would make rainbows. We had a lot of fun and made some great rainbows!
Last week we were working with perimeter in math, so we thought we would use Cheez-its to help us out! Here is how it worked out for us. It was fun to build and it was fun to eat the cheez-its when we were done. :) They looked like they enjoyed it!
Today in math we did the cube drop experiment. We compared predicted results with actual results. Here are some pictures of how we did it. :) We used the information we gathered and turned the data into fractions and then into percents. Most students came up with results that were very close to the predicted results, while a few came up with some unusual results. We decided that was because of the way they created the pattern on their paper.
